Delete your Bali Villa Checker account
Bali Villa Checker is published by TLD Apps. This page explains how to delete your account and exactly what is removed and what is kept.
Most people do not have an account. The app works fully without signing in, and villas, defects, photos and reports live on your device. An account exists only if you signed in with Google to use team Workgroups.
01Delete it in the app
- Open Bali Villa Checker and go to Settings.
- Tap your Account row to open the account panel.
- Tap Delete my account at the bottom of the panel.
- Confirm. The account is deleted immediately — there is no waiting period.
02Or ask us to delete it
If you no longer have the app installed, email contact@tldapps.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject Delete my account. Include your six-character user ID if you know it. We action these within 30 days and reply to confirm.
03What is deleted
- Your name, nickname and email address.
- Your Google Drive connection — the stored access is revoked and the saved Drive address erased, so we can no longer reach your Drive.
- All sign-in sessions, on every device.
- Your workgroup memberships.
- Any workgroup you own, which is removed for every member.
04What is kept, and for how long
- An empty account record holding only an internal ID, so that signing in again is recognised as you rather than silently orphaning shared villas. It carries no name, email or contact detail. It is erased in our periodic purge, and on request.
- Messages you sent to a workgroup stay visible to the people still in that group, as a shared record — the same as an email you have already sent. They no longer carry your name.
- Spot check reports and villas you shared into someone else's workgroup stay with that workgroup's owner, who is the controller of their own property records.
- Files already uploaded to an owner's Google Drive live in that person's Drive, not ours. Only the Drive's owner can delete them.
- Anonymous usage and crash statistics, which are never linked to your name or email and cannot be traced back to you.
05Data on your own device
Deleting your account does not erase the villas, defects, photos and reports stored on your phone — they are yours and stay put. To remove those, clear the app's storage or uninstall it.
